Reason Number 1, Day 1, November 29th 2011

I am grateful that when it is cold/wet/rainy, my doggo doesn't want to go out for as many walks - he prefers snoozing in his bed.
As you can see.

  1. What an excellent idea! It amazes me how similar the northern England & New England landscapes look in the Spring, Summer & Fall. But...Winter - this has got to look entirely different. Or...maybe not. (Little wonder why the early colonists named their new towns after English ones.)

  3. I'm grateful that the only snow that falls in the valley that I live in here (Silicon Valley = upper Santa Clara county) falls on the mountain peaks: I can easily see Mt. Hamilton from the floor I live on: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Hamilton_(California)
